Additionally, you can also use elif (short for “else if”) to check for multiple conditions: if x > 5: print("x is greater than 5") elif x < 2: print("x is less than 2") else: print("x is between 2 and 5")

In this example, the first condition x > 5 is false, the second condition x < 2 is also false, so the last code block print("x is between 2 and 5") is executed.
